Our customer is a specialist in oilseed and edible oil processing.

For their headquarters based in Zaventem, they are looking for logistic administration logistic support. You will be responsible for managing the logistic flow of goods from suppliers up to the final clients for projects, in close cooperation with the Project Managers.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the complete transport flow for worldwide main projects from suppliers up to the final client.
  • Resolve delivery problems in collaboration with the Operations Department (reminders, rush orders...).
  • Act as the supplier interface to handle day-to-day activities with supplier.  
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager on deliveries, quality control, packing and shipping.
  • Keep Project Managers and other departments informed on the status of deliveries.
  • Inform forwarders and shipping companies about deliveries and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of purchasing and transport administration related directives, processes & procedures.

Profil

Profile

  • Master’s degree or equivalent by experience, with a preference in a logistics field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an international logistics/shipping/transport environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills (verbally as well as in writing).
  • Ability to work with high autonomy and well organized.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and keen on taking initiative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and documentary credits is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Sea Freight and preparing transport documents
  • Fluent knowledge of English, Dutch / French (any other language is an asset)
