Do you want to take part in the development of the car of tomorrow? The Purchasing team at Toyota Motor Europe is able to offer you this challenge. Located in the heart of Europe our department plays a key strategic role in the development of our future products.

You will be located in the Process and Systems (P&S) team. This team’s main responsibility is to ensure Toyota Motor Europe Purchasing systems are running smoothly today and to prepare the Purchasing systems architecture of tomorrow.  Also, the team is responsible for compliance with regulation.

As a Process and Systems member, you will lead activities permitting and facilitating the Purchasing function to develop and manage all aspects of the relationship between Toyota and its suppliers, located all over Europe. This position will allow you to have an insight into the most recent technical innovations and will enable you to get a deep understanding of how a leading multinational operates and interacts with numerous internal and external parties.

Your responsibilities:

As part of Process and Systems team, you act as a support function working closely with Purchasing members and our suppliers.

In more detail:

  • You manage & improve Purchasing Systems through a large scale of Programs including the development of new Applications. You are working in close collaboration with Information System (IS) function.
  • You lead improvement and digitalisation activities in your area.
  • You are responsible for delivering training on Systems to Purchasing members.
  • You support other random projects within the Function.

Profil

Your profile:

  • have a university degree or higher education ideally in Computer Science & Information Systems.
  • have at least two years’ experience in a similar function
  • are results driven and able to break down complex issues into manageable portions
  • have highly developed analytical skills, accuracy and reliability
  • can work independently in multi-disciplinary teams
  • have good communication and presentation skills
  • are fluent in English
