Product Development Packaging Specialist

 development of packaging:

from the first artistic drawing to the final mock-up, the Packaging Development Specialist ensures each step of the development in collaboration with stakeholders from category development and production. Based on the new product development briefing the Specialist proposes the best solution taking into account safety of packaging for consumer, process-ability in the production plant, impact on environment, component cost, investment cost... You are able to translate commercial and marketing concepts into technical solutions.

- technical management of components:

as Packaging Specialist you are the expert and point of contact for category development, offer management, product life cycle management for information and advice about the technical aspects of the packaging components. The Specialist is consulted in the decision phase of engineering projects and product improvement projects.

Studies and working experience:

Master in Packaging or equivalent based on work experience eg. 3 years in a production environment or 2 years in packaging

Technical skills:

Languages: fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of French and English

IT-skills: MS Office: good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel ;

knowledge of SAP is a plus, knowledge of 3D-drawing
