As a member of our Belgian operations, you will be responsible for the risk and compliance of our Belgian Motor Insurance business.

You will:

Act as a key point of contact between the Belgian branch and the central risk team with the purpose of managing processes and documentation useful to ensure appropriate assessment and mitigation of business risks.
Act as a key point of contact between the Belgian branch and the central compliance team to monitor the proper application of compliance policies.

Your responsibilities:

develop and maintain knowledge among the Branch of

the company's risk management policies
the company's risk management systems and processes

undertake regular risk assessments and reporting to the central risk management function
oversee the development and implementation of local risk procedures
coordinate input from the various business unit to risk assessment and control processes
provide support to the business unit and the local management team in providing risk-related reporting
assist the business unit in completing follow-up actions in a timely manner
provide new joiners an introduction to the business unit's risk responsibilities
document the business unit's specific risk management processes

Profil

Your profile:

Master or Bachelor degree in Economics / Insurance with legal background.
Relevant (3y) experience in risk and compliance in the insurance sector.
Excellent command of MS Office.
Organized, structured mind and good presentation and communication skills to all levels of the organisation
Good time management – able to work under pressure and dedicated to meet variable deadlines
Positive attitude to resolve problems/troubles with Customer First spirit in mind.
Fluency in Dutch, French and English is a must.
